Portable Appliance Testing, or as it is more commonly known as PAT
Testing, whilst not a legal requirement does go someway towards proving
you and your organisation are complying with statutory legislation such as
the The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, The Provision and Use of
Work Equipment Regulation 1998, The Management of Health & Safety at Work
Regulations 1999, and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
By undertaking regular testing the person responsible for health and
safety with an organisation can prove they have taken reasonable steps
towards ensuring electrical items are safe to use.
Spider Technologies Limited cannot only perform the regular testing
needed, but can also advise the testing regime to best suit the items
being tested. Even if testing is done in-house we can always advise on
schedules and procedures. Our personnel are fully qualified, insured and
ready to speak to you now to discuss your particular needs.
PAT TESTING PRICES
Each item to be tested, which as part of industry guidelines counts appliances
and disconnectable power leads as two items, costs just £1.60, with a minimum charge of £29 per location however there is no minimum number of items
that can be tested; ideal for landlords with just a few items.
In addition there there may also be, depending upon location, a daily rate payable to cover travelling costs outside a 15 Mile radius of Abergele.
For example: 5 items = 5 x £1.60=£8, however in this case the minimum
charge of £29 applies.
20 items = 20 x £1.60 = £32
If the number of items exceeds 100 then please call to discuss any
available price breaks.
